Little Ramen

Late night noodles from the Litte Ramen after an all night Karaoke session with friends at the Rainbow Karaoke Club just can’t be missed. If you’re in Chinatown of an evening, stopping at Little Ramen for some fresh noodles is a highly recommended attraction.

This kit is really top notch. Not only is the exterior detailed and interesting to look at, but the interior is chock full of tiny bit and bobs that will make anyone smile. It has a super detailed kitchen that your 28mm minis will love to be served at. I agree with Jamie above that you should flip the order of construction on page 6 to make it easier on your fat fingers. This thing is going to be a blast to paint and will fit into any cyber punk, futuristic, or modern gaming layout.

This model is full of character and was a lot of fun to assemble. Cutting tolerances were precise, with very little cleaning up needed to fit pieces together.

It would be nice to have some alternative signs for the front, but that’s a minor quibble. My plan for this model is as a Cthulhu squid bento bar, or perhaps fried chicken: “Cthulhu Fried Chicken” or “Innsmouth Chook”.

One of my favourite MDF models of the last five years. Wonderful!

  3. Jamie Le Rossignol

Full kudos to the designer of this beautiful model. There is so much detail from the recessed sink with a tap to the stove top burners and the steamer stacks that sit on top of them. The removable roof means that the internals will need to be painted to, so leave the range hood and small items off to make the painting easier.

With the construction you will find it easier to assemble the stove before attaching it to the wall or placing the cupboards in front of it. Just look at page 6 of the instructions and do the right side before the left.
