5 friends who were simply going to do a 12 hour online catchup and painting challenge, each donating $20 to charity and see who got closest to painting the number of miniatures they pledged to finish … until one of them thought it would be a good idea to ramp things up to 11!

Viv is the owner of Knights of Dice (your host for ‘Painting for Life’) and has been a tabletop wargaming hobbyists for more than 25 years.

He has a wide and varied interest in genres across the wargaming spectrum with a passion and enthusiasm for terrain.  He was actively involved on YouTube for many years on the RubbishInRubbishOut channel, previously owned a retail game store (Battle Bunker) in Northcote, Victoria and spends his days cutting up MDF and making gaming accessories to ship around the world.

Ed has been a good friend with Viv for many years, originally meeting at CanCon (Australia’s biggest gaming convention) where he bought some China Town models for his Infinity terrain collection.

A new found interest in Napoleonic gaming sees Ed cross the spectrum of genres in his tabletop wargaming interests. Having recently completed some gorgeous looking Blood Angels (Warhammer 40k), he’ll be furiously painting as much of his new Napoleonic French force during the stream as possible.

Nick has been painting something-or-other for over 30 years. From 72nd scale aircraft, to 35th scale armour, and various wargames across multiple systems there isn’t much he hasn’t dabbled in. Nick currently divides his time between army painting (current flavours are Napoleonics and MESBG) and pushing his skills with more time-intensive art pieces.

JP is another long time tabletop wargamer and a skilled and talented miniature painter. He first met Viv as a customer at Battle Bunker where he played Warhammer 40k and participated in club nights.

Over the years he developed an enthusiasm for historical wargaming and as many dream about, has been fortunate to share a gaming experience at the legendary Perry Brothers home.  He shares is painting pursuits on his Facebook Page, The 5th Column Wargaming Blog

Much like Nick, Topher is good friend with Ed. Again much like Nick, he is an absolutely talented and phenomenal painter!

Topher will be working on some figures for Infinity the Game and has pledged to offer up those painted figures for the raffle draws, did we mention he is also extremely generous?
